The film is supported by\u00a0The R&amp;A\u00a0and narrated by\u00a0multiple major champion P\u00e1draig Harrington, a long-time supporter of The R&amp;A.<\/p>\n<p>Filmed across several countries,\u00a0<i>You\u00a0Can<\/i>\u00a0celebrates the diversity of the global G4D (Golf for the Disabled) community. Among those featured are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Issa Nlareb<\/b>, a double-leg amputee from Cameroon<\/li>\n<li><b>Chris Willis<\/b>, a Canadian golfer born with\u00a0VACTERL syndrome and\u00a0a rare association of birth impairments<\/li>\n<li><b>Torbj\u00f6rn Svensson<\/b>, a blind and deaf golfer from Sweden<\/li>\n<li><b>Melody Roccaz<\/b>, a seated golfer from France.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Together, their stories highlight not only the diversity of disability, but also the rich tapestry of gender, race, nationality, and personal experience\u2014all unified by the joy, freedom, and empowerment found in golf.<\/p>\n<p><b>Tony Bennett<\/b>, President of EDGA, said:\u00a0\u201c<i>This film is a statement of possibility. It<\/i>\u2019<i>s not just about golf, it<\/i>\u2019<i>s about showing people what they\u00a0can\u00a0do, who they\u00a0can\u00a0become, and how sport\u00a0can\u00a0unlock confidence, community, and opportunity. We believe it\u00a0will\u00a0inspire more people with disability\u00a0to\u00a0pick up a club and take that first swing.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n<p>EDGA\u2019s wider<i> You\u00a0Can<\/i>\u00a0campaign aims to be both highly encouraging and also practical, to\u00a0empower viewers through the knowledge of how\u00a0to\u00a0get involved, whether through local golf programmes, national federations, or the growing number of G4D events across the world.<\/p>\n<p><b>P\u00e1draig Harrington<\/b>\u00a0added:\u00a0\u201c<i>Four amazing people, and four amazing stories. Their message\u00a0to\u00a0you:\u00a0you\u00a0can\u00a0play golf. I hope they<\/i>\u2019<i>ve inspired\u00a0you\u00a0to\u00a0take up this wonderful sport.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n<p>EDGA internal teams created the film alongside Big Bounce Productions. It will\u00a0be broadcast on\u00a0Sky Sports on December 3, at 7.30pm (UK time), with additional international airings planned.
