The qualifying process has begun for the 2025 RSM European Play-offs, the event series increasingly seen as a \u2018must-play\u2019 highlight in \u2018G4D\u2019 (golf for the disabled), with a highly inclusive philosophy behind it. <\/p>\n

Beginning in 2021, the tournament is open for qualifying to players with physical, intellectual, neurological, and sensory impairments who have a \u2018WR4GD\u2019 pass.<\/p>\n
Competition is a key element but the ethos of this unique event isn\u2019t solely about winning. Not only do EDGA and RSM promote the health and social side of the game among its participants, but non-golfers can also be inspired to try the game by attending taster sessions at the tournament. <\/p>\n
Since the inaugural edition of the RSM European Play-offs four years ago, where the leading eight players from the Net and Stableford divisions competed for their respective championships, the event has expanded significantly.<\/p>\n
In 2024, the addition of the Gross and Women\u2019s categories has ensured that golfers across all divisions now have the opportunity to compete for these highly prestigious titles.<\/p>\n

The qualification period for the 2025 event is already underway, as rankings are continuously updated. The final ranking considered for qualification will be the 24th of July 2025, with invitations issued by the start of the following week. <\/p>\n
Qualification is based on a player\u2019s position in the World Ranking for Golfers with Disability (WR4GD). The top eight available players in each division, who have not competed in, or accepted entry to a limited-field G4D Tour event since the 25th of July 2023, will be invited to take part. Players will qualify for only one category. Women who qualify for the Gross, Net, or Stableford divisions will compete in these, rather than the Women\u2019s division, to increase the opportunity for more females to take part in the overall field. <\/p>\n
We wish the best of luck to all European players in their quest to qualify for the RSM European Play-off Finals, which will once again take place at North Hants Golf Club in the south of England from the 8th-11th of September, 2025.<\/p>\n
