Changing lives through the power of golf

As EDGA marks 25 years of action and advocacy, we proudly present Changing Lives, a book that reflects the last quarter of a century and our ongoing commitment to improving opportunities in the game of golf for people with a disability.

This publication charts the key milestones that have shaped EDGA’s journey and recognises shines the remarkable individuals whose passion, dedication, and belief have driven our progress.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has contributed to this journey from players and partners to supporters, service providers and volunteers, that all have helped make EDGA what it is today.

EDGA conducts various research projects to contribute to the available body of evidence around G4D. We collaborate with several researchers and universities on projects that highlight the significance of G4D, the advantages of golf for individuals with disabilities, and the impact of various impairments on a player’s performance. With multiple ongoing projects, EDGA is proud to have a research team that meets regularly and aims to make the game more inclusive for everyone. Additionally, we strive to create a level playing field and our research informs the formation of sport classes for those who are at the competitive level.
