Changing lives through the power of golf

As EDGA marks 25 years of action and advocacy, we proudly present Changing Lives, a book that reflects the last quarter of a century and our ongoing commitment to improving opportunities in the game of golf for people with a disability.

This publication charts the key milestones that have shaped EDGA’s journey and recognises shines the remarkable individuals whose passion, dedication, and belief have driven our progress.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has contributed to this journey from players and partners to supporters, service providers and volunteers, that all have helped make EDGA what it is today.

Competitiveness is integral to the player pathway as some players yearn to test their abilities against others. EDGA’s player pathway offers national and international tournament opportunities for players with such a drive. The Ranking for Golfers with a Disability was established by EDGA in 2014, enabling players with WR4GD passes to participate and earn ranking points. A good position in one of the three divisions is crucial, as many tournament organisers use these points as the entry criteria for some of the most significant G4D events, including the G4D Open, the US Adaptive Open, and the G4D Tour‘s events, which are played alongside DP World Tour and PGA Tour tournaments.
