Privacy
Information we collect
When you create or use an EDGA Learn account, we may collect and store:
- Your name, email address and organisation.
- Your professional role and selected learning interests.
- Information required to administer a shared account.
- Training assignments, learning progress, saved work and completed forms.
- Basic technical and account activity needed to operate, secure and support the platform.
- Messages or requests that you send to EDGA.
How we use the information
We use this information to create and administer accounts, provide relevant learning areas, assign training, retain progress, issue learning records or certificates, maintain security, respond to enquiries and improve the delivery of EDGA Learn.
Our reasons for using the information
We process account and learning information where it is necessary to provide EDGA Learn, to administer the relationship with users and participating organisations, and for EDGA’s legitimate interests in delivering, safeguarding and improving its education programmes. Where consent is required for a specific optional activity, we will ask for it separately.
Service providers and international processing
EDGA uses specialist service providers, including Supabase, to provide authentication, database and related technical services. Information may be processed in countries outside the country where you live. Where required, EDGA will use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Retention
We keep account and learning information only for as long as it is reasonably required to provide EDGA Learn, maintain appropriate education and participation records, meet legal obligations and resolve enquiries. Information that is no longer required will be deleted or anonymised.
Your choices and rights
You may ask EDGA to provide access to your personal information, correct inaccurate information, restrict or object to certain uses, or delete information where the law permits. You may also ask to close your EDGA Learn account. Contact info@edgagolf.com.
You may also raise a concern with the data protection authority in the country where you live or work.
Cookies and local storage
EDGA Learn uses browser storage and similar technologies that are necessary to provide the service. These help us authenticate your account, keep you signed in, apply the correct access permissions, remember the active learner on a shared account and retain saved learning progress on your device.
EDGA Learn does not use this information for targeted advertising. Links to external services, such as YouTube or other resource providers, are governed by those providers’ own privacy and cookie information when you choose to open them.
You can remove locally stored information through your browser settings. Doing so may sign you out or remove work that has been saved only on that device.
Terms of use
EDGA Learn is provided for legitimate learning, education, coaching, communication, accessibility and tournament-related purposes connected with golf for the disabled.
- Keep your account details secure and do not allow unauthorised access.
- Provide accurate information and use shared accounts responsibly.
- Do not attempt to bypass access controls or interfere with the platform.
