It is with great pleasure that EDGA announces the Finnish Disabled Open 2016 that will be held between September 02 and 04 at Golf course Kankaisten Golfpuisto, Maskuntie 281, 21250 Masku, Finland.

Welcome to Kankaisten Golfpuisto (Finnish and Swedish only: http://www.kgm.fi/), Masku, which hosts the Finnish disabled golf competition in 2016.
The Finnish Disabled Open is played in accordance with the Rules of Golf approved by the R&A Rules Limited and also with the Modification of The Rules of Golf for Golfers with Disabilities. The competition is opened to all EDGA players and a limited number of players without EDGA medical pass.
The Practice round and AM-AM competition (for Competitors and guests) take place on Friday. It is recommended that competitors play the practice round during the AM-AM competition, which is played using shotgun start. Tee time 's at 2:00PM.

1) 1-11,4: men stroke play without handicap
2) 11,5-18,4: men stroke play with handicap
3) 18,5-36: men stableford with handicap
4) -36: women stableford with handicap
The entry fee for the players or Friend/companions is 170 € covering:
- 2 competition rounds 3rd and 4th Sept
- Practice round on 2nd Sept
- Practice balls
- Buggy or trolley
- Caddie for whom needed
- Snack box on golfing days
- Transportation between the Golf course and the Hotel
- Dinner on the 4th
The fee for a Friend/Companions is 30€ if attends only the Dinner on the 4th. Please note that the companion can also play during the practice day with a green fee of 30 € (not included to the entry fee).

We have arranged a special fee at three Hotels in Turku. Room reservation directly from the Hotel by August 5th 2016. The rates below are available by mentioning the event Finnish Disabled Open 2016
We provide you with transportation between The Hotel at Turku and Golf course as follow:

20:30 back to the Hotel
08:00 from the hotel

The Players and Companions are responsible for other transportation's such as between Airport or Ferry port and Hotel or Golf club if not stayed at the Recommended Hotel. If you travel from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport www.finnair.com to Turku the best option is to take a train from the Airport. Please find schedule here: http://bit.ly/1tBU0kr. If you travel with a Ferry from Stockholm to Turku you can take taxi. It is a short distance.
Maximum number of entries for the tournaments is 50 players according to the time of registration. The minimum of each category is seven players. Modification to these limits will be made according to the situation of registration after 5th of August.
