In a statement from the World Amateur Golf Ranking, EDGA has received some positive news.

“In January 2014 The European Disabled Golf Association approached The World Amateur Golf Ranking, with a request to help develop a system that eventually could be rolled out as a World Disabled Golf Ranking. We have been very pleased to advise and work with EDGA through each step and are very happy with the progress made in such a short time. We are continuing to work with EDGA as they take the next step to accept scores from non-EDGA events and eventually from WAGR approved events from qualifying players”. (WAGR 23.09.2015)

Since then ATA has been supportive in helping with the 2015 season opener and will be the headline sponsor of the final event of the EDGA tournament series, taking place on November 19/20 at the Pestana Vila Sol resort
